OMHA start dates 2026-2027

2026-2027 Season- OMHA registration opens June 22nd and closes July 19th. There is a $100.00 late fee for all registrations received after July 19th.

OMHA Paid Development Camp registration- OMHA registration opens June 22nd

Development Camps run- September 2-10th

U11 AA evaluations- September 11-13th, Coaches Skate September 14th

Free Tune ups for House start date- September 12th

Evaluations for all of OMHA -

U7,U9, U11 Mixed and Female Starts September 13th

U7 and U9 will be completed September 20th. They will not practice until October

U13,U15 Mixed and Female, U18 Female start September 19th

U18 Mixed soon after

Coach Selection Skates

U11 start September 21st

House teams picked approximately by September 25th

U13, U15 Mixed and Female and U18 Female start September 27th

U18 Mixed should be the same week.

The Okotoks Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) administers a minor hockey program for residents in Foothills County, including the Town of Okotoks. The current OMHA hockey program exists for players ages 5 years through 18 years, and consists of High Performance Level (AAA, AA), Community Level (A,B and C)

OMHA has a working partnership with 3 organizations to administer the AAA and AA levels of hockey - the OOAA (Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association), FMHA (Foothills Bisons Hockey Association) and the Foothills AAA Hockey Association.
