Okotoks Minor Hockey Association : A Brief Overview
The Okotoks Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) administers a minor hockey program for residents in the Municipal District of Foothills, including the Town of Okotoks. The current OMHA hockey program consists of:
- Elite Hockey AAA,AA
- Travel Hockey
- House programs
The program exists for players from 5 years - 18 years of age. OMHA has formulated a constitution and registered it with Hockey Alberta, and the Government of Alberta under the societies act.
OMHA has a working partnership with the Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association (OOAA) to administer the Elite Level of hockey.
The OOAA consists of the following hockey teams:
Male:U13AA / U15AA / U15AAA / U16AA / U17AAA /U18AA /U18AAA
Female: U13AA/ U15AA/ U18AA / U18AAA

Break->AWAY Conduct Management Plan
The Okotoks Minor Hockey Association Executive Committee and Board of Directors is elected by the general membership at the Annual General Meeting and respond to the needs of the membership. Part of the mandate the Executive Committee is to administer conduct management guidelines for all participants in the hockey program.
This Conduct Management Plan is for all members of the association. With this program OMHA wants to address the fundamental values of the game:
- Shared Respect for all participants of the game.
- Development of the players, coaches, and officials involved in the game.
- Fun while participating in the game.
