The following proposed bylaw amendments and additions are being presented for approval by Special Resolution in accordance with Section 8.6 of the OMHA Bylaws:

Addition: Section 11.7 - Referee in Chief
Amendment: Section 13.1(b) - Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association

Details of these proposed changes are outlined in the attached document, with all revisions clearly indicated in red.

These resolutions will be brought forward for a vote at the OMHA Annual General Meeting on May 27, 2026.

Executive Position - Secretary (2 year term)

There was 2 nominees for the position of OMHA Secretary. During the AGM there will be a live vote to determine which nominee will become the OMHA Secretary. There is ONE vote per family allowed per the OMHA By-Laws.

The Okotoks Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) administers a minor hockey program for residents in Foothills County, including the Town of Okotoks. The current OMHA hockey program exists for players ages 5 years through 18 years, and consists of High Performance Level (AAA, AA), Community Level (A,B and C)

OMHA has a working partnership with 3 organizations to administer the AAA and AA levels of hockey - the OOAA (Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association), FMHA (Foothills Bisons Hockey Association) and the Foothills AAA Hockey Association.
