U11 registration information

All U11 players will have the option on the registration page to register for U11 travel or U11 house. All players that are unsuccessful securing a roster spot on one of the travel teams will be moved to the U11 house division.

U11 House: The U11 house division is made up of a House A and a House B division. Players will participate in ranking skates to determine which level they will be placed in.

Each team will receive 2 shared practices per week. Teams in the same level will play games against each other on Saturday or Sunday mornings in Okotoks, Scott Seaman arena in Dewinton or at the Blackie arena.

U11 Travel: Okotoks minor hockey association enters a number of “travel teams” into the Central Alberta Hockey League. Once registration closes, OMHA will better be able to assess how many teams will play in the CAHL and at which tiers these teams will initially be placed. If your players is not selected for one of the travel teams they will be moved over to the Atom house division. For more information regarding where last season Okotoks teams travelled please refer to the CAHL website: www.cahlhockey.net

Atom teams will start practicing as early as 4:00pm on weekdays and 7:00am on weekends. OMHA is unable to accommodate requests for specific day or time requests.
  • All U11 players will receive the same number of evaluations ice times regardless if they select travel or house on their registration.
