2021-2022 Okotoks Female registration

Registration for the 2021-2022 season opens on Monday June 21st and closes on Sunday July 25th.

All players that are registered after July 25th will be placed on a waiting list. Parent will be informed in late August if OMHA is able to place their player on a team.

 

If you are interested in having your daughter play on an ALL FEMALE team for the upcoming season please select the correct division your player is entering that indicates female only.

OMHA offers female only teams for the following divisions:

U9

U11

U13

U15

U18

The U9 team will be an all female team that plays in the U9 OMHA House division. The team receives two shared practices a week with games on the weekend. Games and practices will be held in Okotoks or at the Scott Seaman sports rink in Dewinton

The U11 division will potentially be separated into different levels with in the division. The highest ranked team will play in the Central Alberta Hockey League against mixed teams. The next level of team plays in the Rocky Mountain Female Hockey league against other female only teams. Players will participate in ranking skates to determine which level of U11 they will be playing in. If the level of play is determined to suit the RMFHL league better than one in CAHL and one in RMFHL then both teams will play in RMFHL. All U11 teams will receive 2 shared practices a week and will play their games on the weekend.

The U13 division will be separated into different levels with in the division. The highest ranked team will play in the Central Alberta Hockey League against mixed teams. The next level of team plays in the Rocky Mountain Female Hockey league against other female only teams. Players will participate in ranking skates to determine which level of U13 they will be playing in. All U13 teams will receive 2 practices a week and will play their games on the weekend

Players will participate in ranking skates to determine which level of U15 they will be playing in. All U15 teams will receive 2 practices a week and will play their games on the weekend.

The U18 division will be separated into different levels with in the division. Rocky Mountain Female Hockey league against other female only teams. Players will participate in ranking skates to determine which level of U18 they will be playing in. All U18 teams will receive 2 practices a week and will play their games on the weekend.

U15 Elite and U18 Elite- All Okotoks players must register and pay for U15 and U18 with OMHA prior to registering for the U15/U18 elite tryouts with OOAA. To register for elite tryouts please visit the OOAA website: www.ooaaoilerhockey.ca
